What is a family boat trip?
The Family Boat Trip is an educational and entertaining 4–5 hour marine adventure designed for families of all ages. Created in 2021, it combines marine biology, fun activities at sea, and snorkeling, with safety as the top priority, in a beautiful nature reserve.
Families consistently praise the balance between learning, fun, and safety.
How long does the excursion last?
The duration depends on your starting point:
- 5 hours – from our private berth in the Port of San Antonio (boarding at 9:15)
- 4 hours – from the Port des Torrent water taxi stop (boarding at 9:45)
There is no additional cost for boarding at either location.
The excursions depart every day except Mondays, from May 1st to October 15th, 2026.
Is this the right tour for us?
Of course.

This excursion is suitable for:
- People who snorkel for the first time
- People who don’t know how to swim (special tours are available)

Is the excursion safe for all ages?
Yes — safety is the foundation of this experience.
We work with strict protocols:
- Life jackets for all ages (from babies to adults)
- Extra flotation: “noodles” and a life preserver attached to the guide
- Individual adjustment of mask, snorkel and vest for each participant
- Paddle boards attached to the boat for children and babies
- A calm, shallow, and sheltered bay, perfect for swimming.
- Maximum 12 people per guided snorkeling group
- Ship limited to 50 passengers (60% of legal capacity) for greater comfort and safety
Should I bring babies (0-3 years)?
Yes — babies are very welcome and travel free.
Advantages for the little ones:
- The gentle movement of the sea helps them relax and sleep
- Safe introduction to the marine world
- Paddle surf play area supervised by companions
- Baby-sized masks and life jackets available
- Aquarium on board and drawing materials
- Shaded areas for strollers and prams
Many 2-year-old children even participate in the snorkeling tour under the supervision of the guide.
